Soundscapes PROJECT

Darkscapes is an immersive hybrid sound-art project consisting of multiple evolving compositions based around the concept of darkness. Both musical and atonal sound cues combine to create brooding and foreboding atmospheric tracks. The project draws from the Dark Ambient, Drone, Horror, Noise Music and Cinematic along with elements of Glitch and Cyberpunk.

The project utilises a binaural system to simulate a virtual surround sound environment when played back through headphones. There is no visual element to the project as the compositions are intended to invite the listener to visualise their own version of what the sounds represent.
